The scanner provided by Cheat-Scanner.co.uk will only ever scan for Half Life 1 and Half Life 2 Mods/Games and the cheats related to those games.
The information it outputs is only in relation to these files. No other file information is taken or outputted to IRC.
None of your files are modified in any way. The scanner is one executable file that does not install any other files onto your computer.
The scanner will NOT:
* Transfer or upload any files from your computer.
* Create, modify or delete any files on your computer.
* Change any of your system or program settings.
* Generate any false positives for known cheats that it finds.
The scanner will:
* Report your SteamID(s) (e.g. STEAM_0:0:123123) and in-game name to us.
* Scan the files accessible from your computer for known multiplayer cheats and traces of multiplayer cheats.
* Report any cheats / traces of cheats that it finds.
